Rehabilitation of the Bosc Kiosk in Montpellier

BlueSpine contributed to the rehabilitation of the Bosc Kiosk in Montpellier, a 20th-century heritage site affected by corrosion.

The structure : The Bosc Kiosk, located in Montpellier, was built in 1927 and is listed as a 20th-century heritage site under Historical Monuments.

Client : Mairie de Montpellier

Our intervention : BlueSpine was involved in the rehabilitation of the Bosc Kiosk. The intervention was carried out in two phases: a corrosion diagnostic phase and a cathodic protection design phase. This study included:

• Corrosion diagnostics of the structure through potential mapping.

• Recommendation of suitable treatment for the structure’s pathology.

• Design of an impressed current cathodic protection system.

• Fabrication and supply of equipment.

• Supervision of the rehabilitation work on the structure.
